WELCOME!
Teddy bears, teddy bears, and more teddy bears! Here you'll find everything you want to know about my Shamelessly Adorable Teddy Bear Cozy Mystery series, plus other books I've written.
A new setting -- Mariner's Pointe, on the St. Clair River. A murder mystery, in short form. Coming out in September, not sure exactly where, more details to follow!

Claire Richardson is a certified dog walker who also helps her aunt at the gorgeous Lilac House B&B in Mariner's Pointe. When the chef of the local Ambrosia Cafe is murdered, and the owner becomes the prime suspect, Claire is dragged into helping her best friend prove him innocent.

The victim's boyfriend seems to fit the bill as the killer. But proving that won't be as over-easy as making scrambled eggs or a specialty omelet on the cafe's menu.

SPLOOOOOOT
January. February. March. April. May. June. July... no spring newsletter! Have you ever heard of "splooting"?? Well, this is what I've been doing for a while. Resting up. SPLOOT. The Pandemic. Sick with bronchitis (no, not Covid). Gardening. Reading... until I decided to write a novella. See above for more information.
WINTER 2022
Happy Winter! Hope you all are staying warm and cozy, staying healthy, and being careful with the pandemic still keeping us hopping. Ugh.
Sooo tired of it, but being immuno-compromised, I'm one of those who must stay masked whenever I venture out into public. Also staying in our bubble as well. I sure miss the grands, who seem to get sick with colds and the like a LOT.

As of now, I am still uncertain about going to Malice Domestic at the end of April. I'll keep you posted, though! And keep an eye out for more giveaways on my FB page, through my newsletter, etc.
Need to read a cozy mystery for Valentine's Day?
Teddy bear shop manager Sasha Silverman must step fast to find a murderer before an upcoming Scottish festival . . .
It’s springtime in Silver Hollow, Michigan, and Sasha is looking forward to the village’s inaugural Highland Fling weekend. Plans are underway for a Kilted 5K, athletic competitions, dancing, live music, and even a Hurl-the-Haggis contest. Meanwhile, Sasha’s staff is busy crafting custom teddy bears in kilts for the Silver Bear Shop’s vendor booth. But trouble’s brewing behind the scenes, as the obnoxious Teddy Hartman, former owner of a rival teddy bear company, sows seeds of discord about town, targeting Sasha’s family and their business.
Things go from plaid to worse when—just a week before the festival kicks-off—the disgruntled gossip is found murdered with an ax buried in his back. Sasha’s dad is arrested, since he’s a champion ax-thrower. But she doesn’t give a dram what it looks like—Sasha knows that despite the old business rivalry with Hartman, her father is innocent. So with a spot of help from her friends, Sasha must bag the real killer before her first Fling also becomes her last.

When a heartless killer ruins a Valentine's Day wedding, teddy bear shop manager Sasha Silverman vows to solve the crime . . .
At the Silver Bear Shop and Factory, Sasha will be selling plenty of bride and groom teddy bears come springtime. But this Valentine's Day weekend, she'd take any of those silent, stuffed couples over the real thing. Sasha and her sister Maddie are bridesmaids at Cissy Davidson’s upcoming wedding in Silver Hollow. Cissy is fuming over the worst choice of best man—the jerk who broke her sister Debbie's heart—and the groom-to-be won't budge in his decision. At the rehearsal dinner you could cut the tension with a wedding cake knife.
That is, until best man Dylan is found dead, impaled with an ice pick. Although jilted Debbie is the most likely suspect—the blood on her dress doesn't help her case—the bride begs Sasha to prove her sister's innocence. If anyone's going to walk down the aisle, Sasha will first need to find the cold-hearted killer who iced Dylan . . .

2020 - 2021
The first of my two Western historical mysteries, Double Crossing, won the 2012 Western Writers of America Spur Award for Best First Book! It's my version of "True Grit" on a train in 1869. Book 2, Double or Nothing, is the sequel.
