HAPPY Summer!
Hello and I hope your year is going well. Wanted to update my readers to what I'm doing now since my Shamelessly Adorable Teddy Bear cozy series is finished (for now, until I get my rights back? Hmm.)
My newest book, ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE, is out now! It's a "Quozy Romance" - queer characters along with cis het in a cozy cafe setting in diverse and inclusive Ann Arbor, Michigan - or is it? There may NOT be a dead body but it definitely has a "mystery" element. The breakfast cafe is called Here Comes the Sun, and there are two romantic relationships interwoven, M/M *and* F/M. Available in ebook and print!

I'm also writing a substack (aka blog) with a free subscription option, but also plan to offer paid subscribers extra content. For now, though, I've been jotting my "musings" about writing and what's happening in my life. Check it out!

Woman's World!
I was totally shocked to hear that my second book, Bear Witness to Murder, was reviewed in an October issue of Woman's World magazine! WOW!!!

This was great publicity -- and I have to thank Kensington, my publisher. They have a fabulous art department and have given me wonderful book covers, and some fantastic promotional opps. Like appearing a "Mixer" event in Chicago!

Unfortunately, some of my photos didn't turn out. SIGH. It was still fun!
Book 2 Arrives!
Here's another "shelfie" of my second book in the series, and I often check the bookstores in my local area to sign copies. B&N staff loves to see authors coming in -- it's also fun to browse for books while I'm there. I've always been (and always will be) a huge reader of mysteries, historical mysteries, fantasy, biographies, and other genres. I love books and I cannot lie! All my family knew this early on.

The Kensington "Mixer" was great fun - fans got free books, and we got to sign them! From left, Anna Loan-Wilsey, Alyssa Maxwell, and Meg Macy.

My family took a much needed vacation to our favorite spot in Michigan -- Mackinac Island. It was magical, and we enjoyed every minute. So if you haven't had a vacation in a while, please take the time to kick back, relax, enjoy any time together you can. You will never regret it.

MY FIRST "SHELFIE" !!! It's so exciting to see your name on a book on a shelf in a bookstore. Or on a shelf in the library! Dream come true!
